This project was the compete transformation of a derelict Georgian property in Dublin.
The entire ground floor level throughout was reduced in level and the angled stone boundary wall was a feature of the site that was brought into the heart of the house.
A glazed bench seat forms the dining space which helped preserve the original form and footprint of the house. Corten steel cladding envelopes the projection to the rear which will change and grow with the house in the years to come, weathering as a beautiful counterpoint to both the granite stone wall, and reflecting back to the original brick of the main house.
