Conceived as a single house to cost €200K, a retired woodwork teacher approached us to design and build ‘a simple and uncomplicated house within a limited budget’.

The result is a raw and dramatic example of minimal materiality with great internal dynamic interconnecting spaces.

The finished property looks to stand as an example of what can be achieved with a minimal budget in a given residential context in the greater Dublin area.
