Hidden in a sylvan verdant setting surrounding an old limestone quarry, this new house takes its lead from its surroundings, and is seen as cranked, stepped strata integrated into the landscape.

A bold yet striking cantilevered lounge floats above soft landscape, and an acute angular façade separates the entrance way from the garden areas which results in a robust yet dynamic first impression. An internal garden is created in the double height entrance hall which visually connects to the exterior by means of a refined water feature. The plan is simple; separation of private to semi-private in both plan and section, this new contemporary family home is a bold, striking architectural statement to match its exceptional natural setting.
