This period property required a complete re-organisation of the ground floor to improve the connectivity and usability of the living spaces.
The kitchen area was opened up and moved to a raised level with a built in dining table and open living area to the garden – all anchored around a central storage unit.
Simple materials of concrete and timber are used throughout, with a bespoke kitchen design and stepped rooflight overhead adding light and drama to what was previously a dark and cramped space.
