The project developed as a series of interlinking boxes in plan and elevation, that can be opened up or closed off depending on how the internal spaces are to be used.
The solid mass of the building form is broken up with decorative laser cut metal screens, and aluminium window frame extrusions, with spaces collectively organised around a central courtyard. This allows light into the main body of the house, and also gives a more private sun room to the rear.
